With this wheel pack, my goal was to create a large variety of sports and high end wheels to fill the gap that Rockstar had created within Grand Theft Auto V. To align with the constraints of the game engine, I applied the following limits:
I started with creating a basic list of some wheels I wanted to start with, then went onto preparing a "Template" Blender file which contained Rockstar's existing level of details (LODs) for the wheel barrel and tyres. This would allow me to make wheels more efficiently whilst keeping the same consistent style as Rockstar has made in the past.

I then started on some wheels! The fun with wheels is that you only need to model one spoke, or even in most cases, half of that spoke. Some consideration had to be given as some wheels with 8+ spokes would rack up a high poly count very quickly.
The community response to this project has been amazing. Here are just a few of my wheels in game, showcased by members of the GTA modding community.
